to the NJCTE Gallery of Writing A Local Partner Gallery in the National Gallery
of Writing
Writers in New Jersey will join thousands of writers throughout the nation to display
their compositions in NJCTE Gallery, a Local Partner Gallery in the National Gallery of Writing. This New Jersey Council of
Teachers of English gallery will house the work of those who love to write! The National Gallery of Writing can be found at
http://www.galleryofwriting.org and is hosted by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).
We are urging all 2009 NJCTE
writing contest winners to submit to this gallery. NJCTE would like to showcase your work in this gallery.
The compositions will be unveiled with the opening of the Gallery on October 20, 2009, the National Day on Writing.
Gallery curator, Susan Reese, invites and encourages submissions to the NJCTE Gallery.
As a local partner gallery
in the National Gallery of Writing, NJCTE Gallery will join NCTE (http://www.ncte.org) in celebrating composition in all its forms and demonstrating how integral writing has become to daily life in the 21st
century.
All sorts of writers - students, teachers, parents, grandparents, service and industrial workers, managers,
business owners, legislators, retirees, and many more - and all forms of composition from kindergarten picture messages to
YouTube videos to short stories, emails, journal entries and more will be featured in the National Gallery of Writing (http://www.galleryofwriting.org).
Please go to http://www.galleryofwriting.org/submission_forms/login.php to submit your work to the New Jersey Council of Teachers of English Gallery of Writing.
