Join us for a day of professional development, networking and learning presented by
NJCTE at Montclair State University, New Jersey.
Earn 5 NJ professional development credits in a supportive atmosphere. Choose from numerous sessions on a wide range of topics of interest.
When: Friday March 28, 2008 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: The campus of Montclair State University, 30 E. Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043
Registration: Student Center, University Hall
Who: Speakers will be young adult author, Lisa Sandell and this year’s Becker Award recipient, author Tamora Pierce.
What: In addition to speaker presentations, attendees will hear a panel discussion on professionalism as it relates to English educators. Attendees will also have a choice of two sessions on topics applicable to grades P-13 teaching and learning.
What else: Publishers’ exhibits; light breakfast and buffet lunch; authors’ book-signing with books available for purchase.
